Please release iphone 5 support

Used to work with my old ipod but i bought a converter to plug it with iphone yet no sound coming from car speaker. Ill edit review once you update app.

Worked for 7 months

App and transmitter was good for about 7 months (when I found a good station) now it doesnt work. All its good for is charging my iPhone 5. Need to update your app Griffin...

I trip software was downloaded but could not find it afterwards

My Ipod wont work with itrip. stupid

Thanks a lot

I couldnt get the static to completely go away on any channel, and you have to add your music to a separate playlist to listen to anything (I have 1700 songs thats not going to work out so well).

5s incompatible??

This doesnt work on my iPhone 5s, please update!!

Works great

Ive got an iPhone 5 and this device is awesome. I had the one that plugs into the headphone port until my son ripped it apart just went today and bought the one with the lightning adapter and was blown away! I guess it made a better connection because my stereo sounds great. And it effortlessly allows me to change between pandora and my downloaded music. Only problem I have with new one is phone calls dnt go threw radio anymore. No biggie but I did like the hands free with the old one

Latest iOS8

The device associated with iTrip worked great but after loading iOS8 when I plug in the device I get an error msg saying that the device is not compatible. Update to iTrip needed?

Dont believe the one star reviews

I just bought the transmitter and downloaded the app for my 5C. Everything works great.

Fixed My Issues

I bought this and had trouble finding a clear station on my iPhone 5s, but then I switched my device from LX mode to DX by holding down the up and down tuner buttons on the device and it should switch. After that finding a clear station was much easier.

Works But

Brand new out of package the transmitter works but this software doesnt appear to work to control it. I Dont know if its the software or device? The device transmits but i cant change the frequency or turn on stereo so it only works in mono at 87.9 mhz.

Doesnt work

I have always used radio adapters for my car since I dont have an auxiliary port. I have not had major problems before. This device doesnt work for me. Im going to get in a wreck trying to find stations that work for longer than the length of one song. Its "suggestions" are misleading. This device doesnt seem to override any static and works inconsistently. And you should be able to add songs by album.

I have and iPhone 6 and itrip works great

I just got the itrip for my iPhone 6 and it works great! What would make it better would be a way to turn on/off the battery charger. I have an older version of the itrip that I used with my iPod nano, and with it constantly charging it eventually ruined the battery. I dont want to replace my phone battery prematurely and wish it could happen at the touch of a button. all in all it works great and this would make it a perfect device

Doesnt work - iPhone 5

Could not get it to broadcast on different channels without having to unplug it and start over and even then it wouldnt work 90% of the time. There was bad static also. I never even got out of the Best Buy parking lot before I returned it. Glad I tried it before I gifted it to my wife for Christmas.

Worked great until I upgraded

I used to love this product. It works perfectly with my iPhone 5S, and lasted acouple months on my iPhone 6 plus. Until one day I random received a notification saying, "product is not compatible with apple device." Itll still charge my iPhone, but wont play any music through my stereo anymore.

Does what its supposed to.

I have the model that connects to the lightning port. When I plugged in my phone a popup notification prompted me to install the app. The app itself could use a facelift. It hasnt been updated in some time. Perhaps the company is worried about making the app look good enough to tempt people to use it while driving. If so, thats understandable. It does what it advertises it will do. Ive programmed in 4 frequencies that work very well in my area. Back to the hardware: I had the model that uses the stereo port, and I gotta tell ya, if you have an iPhone with a lightning port, get the lightning port model. It is a noticeably better sound quality.

Crap -- thank God its free

This app in an unwelcome change from the typical Apple intuitive interface. I have yet to get it to actually play more than one song in a loop. The icons dont work. Playlists are impossible to set up. I am taking the controller back to the store.

Stopped Working

Stopped working with the latest iOS update.

Update

Are you guys going to make an update for iPhone 5 and better?

Needs An Update!

Hey, the app itself works pretty well but is in need of an update asap! The app does the job its supposed to (when it decides to load), makes the FM Transmitter MUCH easier to deal with... still hasnt been loading within the past 2 weeks

Update not complete

Ever since I got the itrip fm transmitter I have had the itrip app. It was great; I recommended it to 100s of people. But with the new update its hard for anyone to use either because the available radio stations dont appear on your phone. This makes it difficult to switch between stations not to mention dangerous for the driver, and everyone around. Before I had presets on both my radio and the app. Now I refuse to use the app giving how cumbersome it is to have to change the station. There needs to be an update for this and as soon it works it should be amazing.
